Ck TRUEBLOOD

I earned an Associate of Science degree from Utah Tech University, and now manage an excavation company office by day and write by night. As a member of an international collective of six women writers who meet monthly to critique and support, I am passionate about helping fellow writers express their unique voice. There will forever be a soft spot in my heart for late-bloomer writers like myself.

Alhough I live with my husband, sons, family, and friends under the St. George, Utah sun, I never forget my Minnesota roots. I’ve been a die-hard Janeite for as long as I can remember, and I wish smelling salts were still “a thing.”

I am represented by Heather Cashman, a Senior Literary Agent at Storm Literary Agency. My manuscript, How To Murder Jane Austen, is a Regency romp with a time travel, murdery twist.

How To Murder Jane Austen is a darling, and its timing is a confirmation. I have always felt an inexplicable bond with Jane Austen. She died when she was 41 and I cannot help but feel I am picking up where she left off. Woman to woman, writer to writer, story to story.
